Gecko not eating

Still, he has not eaten and shows no interest in worms or crickets. I did notice that he was a little dehydrated, though it was not severe. I gave him a bit of water through a dropper and he drank that.
I do not know if a draft has gone through his cage. Every time I check, his basking spot is around 90 degrees and his cool side stays at around 80 at all times, though sometimes it fluctuates (never below 78 or higher than 83). I use paper towels as substrate and replace them often. I clean up his poop when it is fresh. I will clean his hides when needed (every couple of weeks to once a month). He does have a humid hide, which is always humid (I never allow it to dry).
His tail still looks plump and he shows no other obvious signs. I think he is still active at night, though I cannot be completely sure. I really want him to be okay. The nearest exotic vet is hours away (will be about a 4 hour drive).
Is there anything husbandry-wise that needs to be changed? I am caring for him the way I always have, based off of what these sites have said, though I understand that even here some information can be unreliable. I was worried it could be impaction-cause kidney infection, though the poop was only in his system a few days. His eyes are not sunken and he seems to be healthy otherwise. I have not found any obvious signs of pain, though he was licking his vent area a few times today and made a weird sound while doing so. If you notice anything about my setup that needs to be changed, please say so. Don't hesitate to tell me anything. Thank you!
*Edit*; his poop looked completely normal, no difference in color or size, but a bit softer than usual (due to olive oil I am assuming)Last edited by Babybeardy19; 01-12-2020 at 11:08 PM.
