    Default Is this belly normal?

Hi all. Apologies if this is in the wrong thread. I'm in the process of changing the substrate in the tank for my new leopard gecko (this is the third day I've had them). They're currently in a critter carry cage while I switch everything out. I looked over and they were kind of standing against the wall and I thought it would be a good time to check their belly.

Is the black I can see normal? They're only about 2.5 months old, and I think they've poo'd once since I brought them home (being unable to tell for sure is one reason I'm changing to a tile/shelf liner substrate).

    Thanks for the help!

Could be a shadow and could be a poop coming.

I know sometimes when I feed mine, you can almost see the bug inside of their belly.
