Default Red toe after shedding, no visible stuck shed

My leopard gecko Linus shed the day before yesterday. There was no stuck shed anywhere, however I noticed one of his toes is dark red. He eats normally and doesn't seem to feel pain.

Is there a way to fix it? I'm afraid it will get infected. He is already on paper towels and I clean the tank regularly and remove any waste immediately. He has 2 tankmates but they don't bother each other at all as they are juveniles.
