    Default Big smelly poops?

So I'm a new gecko owner so this might be drawn out unnecessary worry but maybe someone can ease my nerves.
My 3 month old leo got here a few weeks ago and for the first two weeks or so was very active no issues eating or poopin tho he's been pooping in his cold hide and really just going between his humid and hot hides. Anyway fast forward to this past week. He looked like he going into shed and got a bit less active but his poops while still daily have gotten big and stinky. Also less stick shaped and more poop emogi shapped. Still solid and looks all digested. So i kept an eye on him the shed went well didnt notice any stuck but poops are still stinky and he still seems pretty lethargic. Definitely hasnt been out exploring as much. Really has just come out for food and I'll just occasionally see him go from his warm hide to his humid hide. Double checked all the temps/humidity and everything seems okay. His appetite hasnt changed either. He'll pretty regularly eat 10-15 regular meal worms and he's geta crickets a few days a week ill usually do 4 crickets and leave a few meal worms in his dish of which he'll eat all of em. Always dusted with repashy calcium+ and he's got regular calcium in his tank which i do see him go for occasionally.
Wondering if it's diet related? He seems to really like the repashy and will even lick it out of the bowl if i leave it in there. Maybe its too mucb suppliment every day? I do wanna order some small dubias and see how he does with them but haven't been able to find them locally.
Also is pooping in his cold hide normal? I feel like it adds to the stink since its not really airing out. Also means ive gotta wash the cold hide every few days which is a bit gross and is hard to really get rid of the smell completely. 20210702_220933.jpg20210702_220933.jpg

You could try moving his cold hide to see if he'll go in the same spot. Some geckos just like "outhouses". Two of mine do this all the time. You could also put down a small bathroom tile so at least the gecko will go on the tile and then you can pick up the tile, clean it off and not have to keep cleaning the cool hide. If you spray a little hydrogen peroxide and wipe up the stain that helps with the smell as well.
I have had some geckos that just have smelly poops. I don't know why. At the time no one was ill, just stinky!

I did cut a piece of tile to fit that corner this past weekend and has made clean up easier! I'll have to try some peroxide on the hide or maybe just try a different cold hide.
    Thanks!
