Question Spotty's night bulb just burned out and can I use this one?

So, Spotty's nightbulb burned out today and I have an infrared incandescent 50 watt red night heat lamp and was wondering if I can use that? The only problem I'm worried about is how hot will the temperatures get if its left over night at 65° F air temperature for approximately 10 hours? My other bulb usually reached 75 and I'm worried that this 50 watt bulb will reach 90° or something. So what temperature will it reach? Thank you.

If he's in a heated house, he'll be okay overnight, or even a couple of days, without a heat source.
They don't drop dead, or get sick from lack of ideal heat for a night. It can get awfully chilly in the wild, they just wait it out.
It's like a short cold spell, happens all the time.

You can get a new bulb in the next day or two, no need to worry too much about him.

I have a 75W Black light on my roaches and 6 inches down it get's to about 85*. I agree with Hilde, it won't hurt him to go a day or two without a bulb to supplement air temperatures, so long as he's got a UTH.
