I think it looks a lot better from the time I last saw you!

Is your moist hide somewhat on the warm side? If not you could switch the rock hide with the tree hide and hopefully make more room for the moist hide.

I think I see a calcium bowl? I would reccomend removing it to avoid over doses if possible. Are you following the suppliment schedule Elizabeth reccomended? I hope I didn't miss anything, but I would advise a larger tank and thermostat(s) but I am sure you know that from the last threads you made. Good luck with Ender!

Yes, I'm doing the schedule but I haven't been able to purchase vitamins recently, and yes Christmas time I will get a 20 long, and thermostat, and maybe a few hides

The vitamins are an absolute priority currently, so try to get your hands on those as soon as you possibly can, particularly so since the Gecko has been without them for an unknown period of time already.

The layout looks good, what I would change is the orientation of the hides, rather than having them all with the openings facing out, turn them slightly so the Gecko cant be seen inside at all times.

This is something people often overlook, but hides are supposed be a safe place for the Gecko, after all. He is unlikely to feel very secure when he can be seen no matter where he goes.

I find Geckos who can hide themselves fully almost always become more outgoing, presumably confident they can escape to a secure hide should they feel the need.

I've had ender since June 4th that's when I got him for my birthday, and I could possibly get some vitamins with d3 in maybe 1-2 weeks when I go get crickets

    That sounds good, Adam.

In that case you dont need to worry overly much that he may develop/have developed anything serious that cannot be corrected when you get the vitamins over the next couple of weeks. Waiting any longer than that will start to put the Gecko at risk of mild deficiency however.

I have a quick question, so I bought a new heat mat, and the adhesive part ended up coming off on one corner, is there anything I Gould put on the mat to stick to the tank

When did you buy it? It isn't really supposed to be easy for that to happen, can you return it and get a new one?

I have heard that when the heat mats cease to stick in some places they can cause hot spots and heat unevenly. Although I think I have seen some keepers tape the heat mat in place though I don't particularily reccomend it except for a quick fix. A new one is probably your best bet, hopefully you can return it.

Maybe other members have some ideas!

Hello, so I'm returning it Saturday, and I was wondering how Long a leopard gecko can without a heat mat, I can put on a heat light bulb til saturday, I used to have it on and he looked to lay on the warm rock, would that be ok instead of a heat mat for a few days. I want to unplug the mat so no problems occur, but is it ok to keep the heat bulb on until saturday

Yes, he'll be fine without the heat mat for a few days.

What type of bulb would you use in your lamp? I think a normal bulb could suffice for a bit provided temperatures of the basking site are not too hot. But you could get away without a heat source for 5 days, I am pretty sure it would be fine.
