    Default Skin Shedding

Still a newbie to excuse the ignorance here.
My Gecko was born in mid may and I have had him about 3 weeks now. Over his life he must have shed at least once. He has probably done so since I have had him but I noticed nothing. Anyway, I have noticed that his colours are dulling and I assume this is prior to the next shedding.

When it is over, will he be bright and more vivid in his colours again?
Will his markings have changed at all, ie more or less spots, more carroty tail etc
    Thanks in advance

When they're young they shed about every 2-3 weeks and as they get older this slows down to about once a month in my experience going grey before the shed is normal and after the colours do tend to get bolder and more pronounced with each shed if the gecko is healthy and at the right temperature, though it'll probably take a few sheds to make a noticeable difference. I don't think I've noticed more/less spots on mine because he's covered in them, but I have heard of patterns changing slightly on some geckos until they reach maturity.

Well I never! He came out to play tonight and looked less dull so I hoped he had shed. I looked in his warm hide and there are fragments of white skin so looks like a success.
