Default Not going in warm hide?

For a week now, my leopard gecko would spend his sleeping time either in his cool hide or humid hide. Hes not even going to shed, he shed recently on August 8. Hes 14 months old btw. I just woke up and turned up his heat mat and hes in his humid hide right now. Any ideas what happened?

Yes I have a temp gun and it’s the right temps. I don’t know why he won’t go in his warm hide, he used to always go in there.

Keep in mind, unless you are able to watch your Gecko for really long extended periods of time...your gecko may be using the warm hide just not when you are watching. Perhaps if you include a picture and give us more details of what the temps are at in your enclosure (ground as well as air temps, warm side, middle and cool side) as well as the size of your enclosure it would be helpful for us to give you more advice. If the warm hide has too many openings, it could also be that he doesn't feel comfortable in there. But again, a picture would be useful.
