Hey guys so ive had Runar for about 6 days now and hes my first reptile!

I got him from a pet shop (unfortunatly i didnt really have much choice) where he was kept with another male which was hard see. Once i found that out i couldnt just leave him there!
Hes been great the past week, eating well and hes done one poop and wee which i think is normal for settling in right?
The shop had no idea of his exact age which was frustrating but i assume hes about 3-4 months old.

I do have one concern that im not sure about, his colours are quite muted and im not sure why? it doesnt look like hes in shed and the temperatures are all correct so hes not cold. The only other thing it could be is stress or illness but i have no idea! would be neat to get a second opinion! or maybe hes just naturally muted? (ill leave some pictures, sorry for poor quality)

Ill add that he spends most of his time in his humid hide, i dont really know what to do about that, i dont want him getting ill!

he probably is going into shed. usually you'll go to sleep and he's dull, you wake up and he's back to bright colors.

also, can you tell he is a male, if you can then he's probably 6 or more months old.
