You're just going to have to reach in slowly and pick her up

I have the same issue with Coleonyx, which are skittish, dainty little geclos. I don't like to handle them, so I simply use a container that they can't climb out of- such as a tall yogurt cup- lay it on it's side, and gently chase them in.

My leopard gecko is roughly 7 ish months old, which means she is juvenile. I have a 10 gallon tank for her and plan to upgrade to 20 gallon once she reaches 10 months. In her tank she has a moist hide, water, heat mat, stuff to climb on, pretty much what a gecko needs. At night, she climbs around on everything, and I’m worried she might be trying to get out due to something she dosent like in her tank. I know they like to climb, but I’m still worried. Im wondering if her tank might be too small for her?

I had a baby and that’s just what they do! Believe me I know! She prolly loves the tank and wants to explore!

Question
So I’ve had my leopard gecko for almost three months and she is a juvenile. After being around her a lot and observing her, I know that she isn’t afraid of me anymore. I’ve she’s crawled on my hand before and I lifted it an inch or two off the ground of her tank and she didn’t seem to mind. Do you think I would be able to scoop her up now without scaring her too much?
