artificial plant suggestions?

So, I did a search and while I found a lot of conversations about artificial plants, I didn't find any real suggestions.

I was using these terrarium vine type things that are supposed to go around this fake branchy thing that is then held up with suction cups. That didn't work, so I just had the leafy vine stuff laying over the assorted hides so the leaves dangled down. Donnie seems to like them, but they are a serious nuisance because no matter what I do, they get in the way.

Does anyone have any artificial plant suggestions that they've used that their leopard geckos have liked?

But I'm not sure about the fake driftwood part of them.

I also thought about getting some driftwood or balsa wood (I think that's what it's called) and either gluing or just sticking some of the fake plants that aren't attached to a base into it. But I don't know if there is a gecko-safe glue? Or, if I just stick them in, is there a danger he'll pull them out and then get hurt on the pointy end?

Again, open to any suggestions or ideas (other than real plants - when it comes to real plants, I have a black thumb).

(And yes, I know. I'm probably being very neurotic and overthinking things, but I really want Donovan to be happy.)

I use a vine in one of my terrariums, I would recommend ones with a suction cup. Amazon has some good options.

Sometimes a dab of vegetable oil helps suction cups stick longer.

There are multiple sources "out there" for artificial foliage: JoAnn's, Dollar Stores, Walmart, Fred Meyers (?). Donnie probably won't be bothered by the pointy ends.

IF you DO wish to try live plants, I'd limit myself to short & medium high sanseveria (snake plant) planted in pots. Because of dim lighting it almost takes a miracle to keep plants alive.

For my crested gecko I use a 4 inch diameter pot filled with hydroton clay culture balls. One could use pebbles. I cover that pot's top with a layer of black weed blocker cloth. The weed blocker cloth is held in place with a rubber band. Then I stick foliage in the center. I water the hydroton/pebbles through the weed blocker cloth. That helps a bit with ambient humidity.

Thoroughly rinse fake plants and other cage decorations. Then let air dry.

A glue gun with silicone is safe after a while. Check the instructions.
