Nice studio apartment you have there! Personally I would wait due to safety reasons. You would have to climb on a ladder or something in order to reach the tank daily for things like feeding and cleaning. You can fall, drop the GLASS tank and your Leo. Not to mention some refrigerators are noisy

The noisiness could be a problem. I have had an enclosure that I have to stand on a stool to reach for many years. I used to have red eyed tree frogs and now I have a gargoyle gecko up there. As long as you have a front opening enclosure (you're never going to be able to easily reach into a top opening one) and a stool, I think it should work out. My enclosure is on top of a 5' high shelf unit and I'm 5'2"!
