Wha, ha, ha, ha; a ham, a prawn, a grapefruit... When I first saw it wriggling and twisting in his vivarium, I thought it was an alien tentacle!!
Just when I was on the phone with mr. Spielberg, I figured out It was Keto's tail...
But seriously; I do not offer him any grashoppers anymore, becauce it's tail is finally starting to grow back, and I do not want him to lose it agian!!
Keto was my largest male, but now he's lost a quarter of it's bodylenght. All becauce of some stupid insect

Greetz, and sorry if I spoiled anyone's appetite!
Cindy

Here is what it looks like after about 6mths....Both hermie and herminie have lost their tails (to the 5 year old) but anyway, that's what a regrown tail will look like!

Aha, I've shown these pictures to Keto, becauce his tail is still completely pink. I suppose the dots come back, when the tail is done growing?? Because it now looks like a little sausage...
I'll promise to keep you up-dated Kaszka! Thanks,

xxx Cindy

that's what I've found so far (that the spots return) but the ridges never do, it's just a lil fatty tail.. I have a little blizzard that lost his tail coming out of the egg and his lil tail is the cutest thing in the whole world!!!! Lemme look and see if I have an undated photo of him on myspace..... Yep, found one.. it's not a great one but it's a pic of his tail... There are two little black dots on it that I cant quite figure out but for the most part it's just a lil fat chunk of cuteness!
