Wow, nice coloration!! I diddn't know that leo's with such yellow body's are also refered to as 'Mack snows'.
Leela also looks really beautifull. Is she housed in the same enclosure as Ruby, or do you keep them seperate??
Love them both!!
Kind regards,
Cindy

They are separate because I'm actually not sure yet on their genders, Ruby is much bigger than Leela, and I didn't want to risk any 'too soon' breeding if one turns out to be male. I'm assuming they're both female right now, though, because I bought Leela from Petco (I've read they mostly get females at petstores) and Ruby was ts female from her breeder.

And thank you, Cindy; I love them, too!

I've tried to figure out what morph she is, with the help of Ron Tremper's book: 'The herpetoculture of leopard geckos'. But diddn't find anything, so perhaps she's quite unique!! Maybe she's even a whole new morph!!
Wouldn't that be cool?!
What exactly is Petco? A reptilestore, a petshop or some sort off animal-supermarket? Because I hear a lot about it on the forum, but I do not live in the USA, so i'm not familiar with it.
By the way; I'd love to see more pics of Ruby en leela, so feel free to post more! Hint, hint...

Kind regards,
Cindy

Haha--that would be cool!!
Here's a link to the pic that makes me wonder if Ruby is a "Gem Snow":
Image:Gem snow hypo.jpg - Leopard Gecko Wiki

Oh, and Petco is a pet store chain here in the U.S. It has supplies and pets for sale. The one in my town has fish, reptiles, birds, ferrets, hamsters, mice 'n rats, and a cage that houses different kitties to adopt from the local animal shelter. I'm not sure if they keep a kitty until it gets adopted or if they switch them out periodically, but there seems to be a different one in there every week or so.

I'll post more pics as soon as I can snag some!

She does look like a Gem. snow hypo indeed!! I had never heard off it before, but it's a really, really cool morph.
Damm, and I was just all exicted about having a newly discovered morph, with no name yet...

Here in the Netherlands there are not many petstores were you can buy kittens or puppies, because there are some very strict rules to follow. Actually, i believe you can only buy a pup or a kitten here, from a local breeder or an animal shelter!
Kinda silly, issn't it?!
I'll wait in excitement for those pics!
Greetz,

me

Cindy--that is some crazy strictness!

Sheena--thank you! I bought her from Raccoon River Reptiles - Jason Kirtley. I think her clutchmate is still available (the second one listed)!

Phoenix--yeah, I got lucky-my Petco doesn't always have a good selection like that. Leela-tu was hiding up in the corner of a hide-it took some hard looking to find her! Haha, the little stinker!

Default Morph confirmation

That is indeed a Hypo mack snow 100 % het albino and i will quarantee her genetics. Trust me, i'm not full of *@$#%&*, or at least not some of the time according to my wife. hehehehehe.. Here are the parents of her. The mother is a Super hypo Tangerine Carrottail baldie 100% het for albino and the father is an Albino Mack snow. I think that people refer to them as gems. i like to keep is simple. Since the dam is a super hypo all babies will be hypo. Since the sire was an albino mack. Statistically half will be mack snows 100% het for albino and a half of the hypo macks will be albino making them hypo albino mack snows. Here pix of the mom and dad and some really cool new ones that are hatching out.
