That should be ok. How big is the leo? You should supplement with mealworms or phoenix worms would be best from what I hear. I have always fed my mealies and crickets. I have started using phoenix worms but they are quite a bit pricier.

I use phoenix for my hatchlings for the first month. I've noticed the ones I give them to vs the ones I didn't (out of experiment) grew longer, faster, from the the extra calcium boost.

The rest of my leos eat a diet of mainly Crickets. They were on roaches, but my colony died in the move.

Some of my adults eat 10-15 crickets every other night, so if you're giving 5 each night, it's just about the same. Give whenever he'll eat.

They're expensive, and small. My adults who eat them down about 30-40 in one sitting, online I pay $7 per 150ct.

3-4 crickets a day sounds ok. But if you want your leo to grow faster i sugest 6-8 a day.
Thats what i do since i have her , 3-4 crickets , 2 times a day ( around 9am and 9pm ).
Mealworms are really inexpensive too. I bought 100 for only 3 $. But my leo wont eat them if i dont hand feed her :P
They dont move alot so she isnt really interested in them. When i hand feed her some mealies she will just slowly pick them from my fingers and eat them
You can look online to see if you can get food for cheaper.
At the nearest petshop where i live , They sells crickets 17 cents each. That can get really pricey on the long term. But i found a online store that sells them at really good prices. 15 $ for 500 , 25 $ for 1000. I can buy less but with the shipping ( around 12-15 $ ) it is best to buy alot at the same time.

That a fair price. Considering you dont have to buy them food and water.
I don treally understand the box thing. Do they come in a special box ?
Mine just come in a normal box with tape and screen. Once i open it i cannot close it securely. They would escape.
If one day you change your mind and want to house alot of crickets at the same time , Theres alot of DIY on how to make a proper cricket keeper box. And it is really inexpensive, specially if you already have what it need.
