Is it posible for you to take a short video of him walking? A picture (or in this case a video) is worth a lot more than a description of the symptoms.

Does he always quiver his legs before taking a step, or is it just sometimes? Because mine seem to "hesitate" sometimes when they walk, and they'll hold the leg (typically a front leg) in the air a moment and shake it as if they're not sure they want to step down or not. But if they're moving with determination it's a much smoother gait. Mine have been checked and rechecked by vets over the years and they're healthy as can be, but they still do this so it makes me wonder about jumping to severe conclusions with your little one.

Actually, it seems a little like this. When he walks faster/in a normal speed he moves smoothly, as you said. But when he's walking slowly, like taking slow steps, his legs seems to shiver a little before touching the groung and I got worried it could be something. But he acts totally normal and seems very healthy.

I'll see if I can record a video and put it online. (never done this before)

I tried looking around youtube for a video example, but I didn't find find anything. Not a lot of people would tag their gecko videos as "shaky legs" lol. I can try getting you a video of one of my own geckos doing it, but it might be tricky.

If he's capable of walking around normally he's obviously not in any type of pain, or he would be limping or doing something strange with a particular leg all the time. My opinion is that it's just this "hesitation" (from lack of a better term), but I haven't seen your gecko in person so I can't say for sure. But I'd like to hear if anyone else has noticed their geckos doing this, because I bet other people have seen their geckos doing the same thing.

3 out of my 5 geckos do this "hesitation" type thing. It's almost like they're stalking something, and there IS a noticable shake every now and then. All are properly supplemented, and i'm 500% sure there are no chances of MBD. I'd say your gecko is probably fine, unless you are seeing any other neuromotor problems...

I haven't noticed any problems with him, he seems and acts perfectly healthy. I just got a little worried about it. He eats well, I give him vitamins, dust his crickets with calcium, leave a calcium dish always avaliable... I'm already dusting the cricket every other feeding with calcium with D3, let's see if there's any change...

That is something I'm realizing now that I think about it, I think my guys only used to do it when they were younger. Maybe it's one of those things you work through as you grow up with your motor skills?
