Default Bath?

Do they ever need to get a bath or a rinse?

I give baths, but only when they drag their tails through their poo and get gross. Otherwise I don't. Or when they're extremely smelly, and I have someone coming over who I know will want to hold them. It's not like.. a bath bath? More like a soak and rub down with a cotton ball. They're geckos, so I let them be. Plus they shed every other week for me, which essentially is getting rid of the "stink"y skin.

I just got my gecko and i feel he is rather smelly. I don't know if this is because he was housed with other geckos, or if it's just the gecko smell. Do they have their own smell? My snake doesn't smell whatsoever, so I just wasn't sure if they normally smell a little fishy, or if it's from his old environment, or he might need to shed soon. Either way, I wouldn't consider "bathing" him for a few weeks as he is settling in.
