Default Leopard gecko question

My friend's leo has a fat pocket behind his armpit. I have seen it behind both arms, but this is only behind one arm, and is a little bit farther back and bigger. Is this normal? once my friend sends me pictures i will upload them.

He's fine. They're calcium deposits. If he reduced the calcium intake for a couple days they'll slowly go away. That's all. No health risk.

chances are, it's probably just extra calcium like alee said.
but you say it's further back and bigger... like it's near his rib cage? soft or hard? is it bothering the gecko any? better post the photo. just to be sure.

A picture would be good to show others who may have the same problem in the future

I don't know why it's so big, but stop dusting with calcium (and remove calcium from the tank) and see if it reduces in size. If it does, then it's calcium deposits.

It'll grow back. Keep it on paper towels until it's grown back.
