Default Odd behavior... nesting?

So, a couple days ago Kashmir pulled all of the moss from her moist hide and made a little nest with it. Now she keeps going in the (empty) hide and scratching at the bottom. She is very persistent about it! Never seen her do anything like this before... is she maybe trying to tell me she wants to start a family? She seems perfectly fine, fat & sassy as usual, so I'm not worried, just intensely curious! I have paper towel for substrate and the hide is a standard deli cup.

Is she ovulating? Have you checked to see if she's carrying eggs?

I have a small 25g female who does the same thing. I just keep putting the bedding back in.

Yeh, she could be ovulating, or has she been with a male recently, I know in a previous post you said one of your females turned out to be males.
How big is she, what weight is she, how old is she?
If you are ready for some eggs, and she is too, then why not? It's good experience if you know what you are doing, and I was lucky to catch mine laying hers. Well, I watched her for two or three hours patiently until she laid haha, but she laid in front of me without any fuss

Kashmir is about a year & 1/2 old and was 50g last time I weighed her. She hasn't been with a male... but I am planning to breed her with Sasuke this year, just have to get the big tank set up. Sounds like gecko babies will be much less hassle than the wretched little corn snakes I had to deal with last year!
