I wait a week or two. One of my fertile eggs due to hatch in two weeks showed blank for three weeks, then randomly started to grow.

Candle only to tell fertility. Once you know it's fertile leave it be until it hatches. Over candling can stress the growing embryo, and if the embryo moves to avoid the light it can rupture some veins.

I would keep the egg until it molds over, before tossing it. Sorry my post is kind of scattered, I'm dealing with some major infections that got me knocked up on all kinds of antibiotics and pain killers. Haha.

Hope everything goes ok with your eggs?
Being new to breeding means there is a lot of trial and error. I think it is best just to leave them alone and check on them every week up until the average hatch date.

Even then you don't want to check them weekly. I check every week until I see it glow solid pink, for a confirmed fertile embryo. Then mid-term I candle to make sure all is going well, then one week before the hatch date I candle to make sure the baby is big like it should be.

The best rule of thumb with all eggs is to let them go until you're 100% sure that they're no good...even if it seems like it's been a long time or if they don't look pink. If it's not a good egg, it'll eventually collapse, or rot, and then you'll know for sure that's it's no good. Sometimes a clutch will go way longer than expected or otherwise seem infertile. But they can surprise you and turn out perfectly fine babies.

Depends on the temps. Average female at 81F is about 60 days.

I dont even bother to candle. Just like Riverside Reptiles said, Incubate till you know they are 100% bad. Not all eggs are bad if they dont show definite signs of being fertile. When in doubt, incubate anyways. The eggs are pretty resilliant IMO
