Default hey all new here

hey guys.
i am new to geckos and really enjoy the leopard geckos there adorible
i have both a 40gal breeeder tank and a 10 gal tank. i was woundering if i could set up a breeding group. id keep the male in the 10gal tank completly set up so its right for him. would 3 females be able to be keep in the 40gal breeder with out problums. i hear 4 would be good for a 40breeder but i think 3 might be better.

what are some things i should prepare for and can live plants be keep in there ecosystems?

i am not looking to breed for a profit i am doing it just because i enjoy breeding animals. i have breed many types of fish and am looking to step up to reptiles.

all feedback is accepted. thanks all
-matt

Welcome to GU. Three females in a 40 gallon works in terms of space as long as they get along. Live plants, probably succulents, can work but are a bit of a problem because they can raise humidity. I recommend spending a year keeping the geckos to gain experience before breeding. Remember also, that baby geckos require much more space to house than fish and can't really be kept together when they're very young in groups of more than 2 in order to keep track of feeding and prevent bullying.
