If you're going to breed your gecko's you'll need plenty of places to keep the hatchlings and be prepared to either spend a lot on food or breed your own. I'm not trying to put you off but gecko's can lay quite a few clutches of eggs that will be laid a few weeks apart. The eggs will hatch at different times due to this so you can't just keep them all together as they will be different sizes and this could lead to bullying and nipping of toes and tails. Have you thought how you're going to incubate your eggs? You can either build your own or buy an incubator. It might be worth checking with your local pet shops to see if they would be willing to buy any of the babies off you but if you're going to sell them yourself please try and make sure they go to good homes and make sure the people who buy them know how to take care of them. If you need any help or advice there are plenty of people that breed them on here including me. I've kept all my babies this year so we've got over 20 hungry mouths to feed. I couldn't sell any of them as I grew to attached to them all.

TO be completely honest, the world does not really need another leopard gecko breeder. Unless you're breeding high end leos, you will find that it can be not only hard to sell the babies, it can be hard to even give them away. If you really just want the experience of breeding, I suggest that you breed them once and plan on keeping the babies for yourself.

You really can't tell, you could have none and you could end up with loads of eggs. Out of my 3 Pookie laid 2 and they both hatched, Yoshi laid 12 but most collapsed and were infertile so we only got 3 hatchlings from her and Princess laid 6 and they all hatched. I have a local pet shop that wanted my hatchlings so I knew before I started that if I decided to sell them they'd be going to good homes. They don't sell anything to anyone that isn't perepared but I decided to keep them all. I kinda knew that I'd be wanting to keep all of them before we started and we have the room so we were prepared. I'd got enough mini vivariums, heat mats, dishes etc in place in case all our eggs hatched which potentially could have happened. I made mini houses out of wax worm tubs as these are a perfect size for hatchlings but it still cost a lot of money to get everything in place. In addition we had to buy an incubator too. The babies eat loads and feeders have to be different sizes as all the hatchlings are different sizes as they are differnt ages.
We've had a hatchling that couldn't walk properly (she's fine now though she was just small and very weak), we've had a death which was very upsetting and we've had hatchlings that just haven't grown very well and need extra care. I love all my hatchlings to bits but they take time and money to care for especially the weaker ones. I would think long and hard before breeding your geckos. Riverside is right just look on reptiles classified and see how many people are giving their gecko's away or selling them for next to nothing?
