You really can't tell, you could have none and you could end up with loads of eggs. Out of my 3 Pookie laid 2 and they both hatched, Yoshi laid 12 but most collapsed and were infertile so we only got 3 hatchlings from her and Princess laid 6 and they all hatched. I have a local pet shop that wanted my hatchlings so I knew before I started that if I decided to sell them they'd be going to good homes. They don't sell anything to anyone that isn't perepared but I decided to keep them all. I kinda knew that I'd be wanting to keep all of them before we started and we have the room so we were prepared. I'd got enough mini vivariums, heat mats, dishes etc in place in case all our eggs hatched which potentially could have happened. I made mini houses out of wax worm tubs as these are a perfect size for hatchlings but it still cost a lot of money to get everything in place. In addition we had to buy an incubator too. The babies eat loads and feeders have to be different sizes as all the hatchlings are different sizes as they are differnt ages.
We've had a hatchling that couldn't walk properly (she's fine now though she was just small and very weak), we've had a death which was very upsetting and we've had hatchlings that just haven't grown very well and need extra care. I love all my hatchlings to bits but they take time and money to care for especially the weaker ones. I would think long and hard before breeding your geckos. Riverside is right just look on reptiles classified and see how many people are giving their gecko's away or selling them for next to nothing?
