Default Shed issues - what to do next...

Jengo had some pretty major shedding issues this time. I have been able to get all the stuck shed off of his head and body and almost all of it off of his feet. He has a tiny bit left of 2 of his back toes. I have given him 2 warm baths (10 minutes each) and massaged his toes both with q-tips and with my fingers. Any further ideas how to get the last of this off? It is just about 1 millimeter or so on the tip of 2 of his toes, I got the rest off.

Keep going with the soaks. They will eventually come off.

I had the same problem. I soaked every 2 days and that last stubborn shed stuck to her toes but finally came off with the next shed.

I often dont notice Star shed, she does it through the night.
Do you have a moist hide? And if you do, is Jengo using it?

Yes, I have a Moist hide. He used to stay in there a lot, but go the last couple of months, I only see him in there near shedding time. He stays outbin the open most of the time now.. I soaked him again night before last and it finally came off, so we're good until the next go around. I'm moving him into a bigger tank soon...wish I had known a 10 gallon wasn't big enough BEFORE I bought it... Anyway, I'm going to add a second moist hide at that time...

Usually a day or two. I notice my leo's colors go dull and then usually by the next day they have shed. Sometimes they do it so fast that I don't realize it.

You'll probably have less shedding issues when you upgrade to the bigger tank. I know I did. Good luck!
