Default Can Anyone Explain This Crazy Behavior I Witnessed My Geck Perform

Last night I can't remember if it was before or after I saw him inside his hot dry side hide and he was opening and closing his jaw multiple times for about 15-20 seconds and then he all of a sudden jumped in the air like a kid will ollie on his skate board sort of technique. He is completely healthy. I alter his food weekly from Crickets, Mealworms, to Dubai Roaches hes only about 5 to 5.5 inches but I notice him getting bigger by the week! Has anyone have any experience with this occurring? or have any idea what may have happened?

Also, I switched him into a new 20 gallong tank last night and the floor of the hot side with the UTH is currently reading 92.3 and the cool side is reading 68.6F I have the dual Day/Night little Zoo Med lights that came with the 10 gallon setup thing. I have it directly over the humid hide located in the middle of the tank because he is about to shed which has damn moss in there. Im annoyed by this light fixture and how it seems like its always going to fall every time I try open the viv. Would purchasing a Ceramic Heat Emitter be the way to go? or getting a heat clamp? What are my options of being able to keep ideal temperatures inside my tank but without the hassel of these two connected lights with 2 cords and 2 switches. Please Help. Many thanks!

You NEED an under tank heater. Leopard geckos do not need lamps nor do they even like them. The direct light just stresses them out. They need belly heat. As long as your room has a window then the indirect sunlight with be more than sufficient for the 12 hour daylight period. Please get an undertank heater

Yeah I have a UTH. Thanks!

So last night my juvenile leopard gecko shed and I guesstimate he lies anywhere between 5.5 weeks and 6.5 weeks old. His last shed he had trouble getting skin off his eye lid and half his snout. I helped take the excess skin off with care and was successful. After waking up this morning I noticed AGAIN he had left over skin on his eye lid and most of his snout... I again helped take the skin off with care and was successful. I have read probably 20 leopard gecko care sheets and follow everything correctly. I was witnessing him shed last night and I only saw him go into his humid hide once! I made sure the moss was damp before he even started to shed & It's located in the middle of a 20 gallon long tank. Anyways does anyone have an idea what the issue maybe? The last two sheds he has had is the only time I have noticed any left over skin after a shed. Could it be just this period of time hes having trouble for some reason and next time he won't? Please any feedback is greatly appreciated.
