She quite often makes what i call is a prairie dog like bark, she has no cage mate or anything in her cage that she'd talk to i'd imagine. Is she just a chatty kathy? Talking to herself? She just sits there an yips in the night.

Does anyone have similar stories? I think its kinda cute

They make all kinds of noises. Babies are known for their deadly screeching. I have noticed clicking and sqeaky noises when they are being handled and are not happy about it. I have also heard the barking sound, but have no idea what that's about. Maybe it's a call for food

oh ya i forgot to mention she an adult an she only really just started doing this over the last couple months. She also always has something to eat in her tank
