Exclamation She's become very jumpy :S

One of my Geckos has become very jumpy the last couple of days I check them and handle them every day she didn't used to act like this if I go near her she starts waving her tail (I know they do this to distract predators in the wild) and she watches my hand constantly as if she wants to bite it. I don't know why she's acting like this I did post a picture previously of her stomach as there is something odd about it, but know one really said what it could be. Do they act like this if they're Gravid? Please help as I don't want to stress her out or upset her.

I have never seen this kind of behaviour in gravid females, so I doubt that is the case, do you hand feed??

Some of my geckos are used to hand feeding and lately when they see my hand they asume itīs food coming and ĻattackĻ my hand, perhaps she also is gravid but I doubt that is the reason for her behaviour

As a person who has rehabilitated reptiles, I can assure you minimal handling is important. Although personalities and tolerance vary, daily handling will elicit stress at one point or another. Keep in mind that when we remove them from their enclosures they will not have the option for POTR and so making them susceptible to illness. Some reptiles will refuse to eat from handling stress putting their health in jeopardy. In my opinion reptiles should not be handled daily.
A friend of mine had a gecko who was had been refusing to eat for 3 weeks. She called me in panic and so I went over her house and verified husbandry was on point. I had my suspicions and so I took her gecko to my home and within a few days the gecko began to eat.
What did I do differently? I did not attempt to handle or invade the geckos privacy. Just something to keep in mind
