It can take hours for the tile to reach it's highest temperature. As for the one not eating, it can just be due to stress. However, I will be honest and mention mealworms are not even on my list of feeders. They are poor in nutrition even gutloaded. Some geckos will not eat mealworms and so you have to offer other food items. Have you tried crickets? Look at the caresheet we provided regarding insects and supplements.

She does not look like she is starving skinny at this point. They just need time to adjust to their new environment. Only enter their home for maintenance for now

No, please don't. They are pure fat. Try crickets instead.

Right now she is probably looking at you as a predator that wants to eat her, so just toss them in and keep an eye from a distance to see if she goes for them. Keep a close eye to make sure the other one is not bullying her over the food. If she does not go after them, then she is probably very stressed and needs time. Remove them after an hour.

A rule of thumb for lizards is that the prey should be no larger than 2/3 the length of the reptile's head.

Another option is to cut off the back legs of the crickets at the knees and place them in a shallow feeding dish. Young leos are often clumsy hunters. This will give the leo more of an opportunity to catch them.

You need two types of calcium: 100% pure calcium for the dish inside the tank 24/7 and a phosphorus-free calcium with D3 to lightly dust her crickets with 2-3x per week. The brands I like are Rep-Cal and Sticky Tongue Farm's Miner-All Indoor formula.

Do not feed waxworms. They are mainly fat!

Here is my entire care sheet: http://www.geckosunlimited.com/commu...12-update.html
