Unhappy leop gecko blind, hasn't eaten in months

I received my leopard gecko Lenny about 2 and a half years ago I was his 3rd owner. when I got him he had no heat, was only getting meal worms and his cage was filled with sand. I changed out his cage ,added a heating lamp, and starting supplementing crickets into his diet. He thrived for about a yr and then winter came and he went into a mini hibernation during winter months, and that is when the problems started. I had to hand feed him cause he couldn't see He stopped shedding correctly and I noticed old skin was stuck in his eyes so i used q-tips and tear drops and about mid summer he was back to his old self . ...Well the same thing happened this year only I could not nurse him back to health He is blind so he can't see his food, I started hand feeding him again and that worked for the first month but no matter what i do he spits the food out now, so he has not eaten in months! ..He still goes to the bathroom and drinks but that is about all ,his tail went from plump to skinny . I am at a loss on what to do he is prob about 15 yrs old from what I can guess. It may sound mean but i wish i could put him out of his misery he is suffering from lack of food.

Hello,

There can be so many problems due to all he has been through prior to your care. Have you taken him to the vet?

Please look over the caresheet to rule out husbandry errors.
