I'm new... just started checking this site out today. It showed you in my list as "online" so I figured; what the heck... I would give you a friendly "Hello"
I have been breeding cresties since 2005. I prefer to purchase the breeder males & hatch my females. So far, I have successfully hatched ALL females. I never use heat & my avg temp stays about 73-76 degrees, with the substrate ALWAYS kept moist/wet. I use coconut bark because Perlite was too difficult for me to tell whether it was moist enough or not. I separate my females from the males at the end of Nov. until the beginning of Feb. I guess I'm averaging about 50 babies or so a year, which I take to a local dealer (unless they're just so pretty I HAVE to keep them! lol). I have 2 breeder tanks (2 females, 1 male) in each & recently hatched 2-3 more females that I will add to the breeding pool as soon as they are big enough NOT to be eaten ;-D
Well... enough about me *blush* ...what kind of critters do you have?
hi, i don't mean to spam or harass you, but do you have experience in breeding phelsumas, because my female laid an egg on a branch so i replaced it to the ground so it would not fall off. i am not an idiot, and i have experience with these kind of animals. is there any chance that they hid it or ate it? did i trigger an eating response by doing this. thanks a lot if you could answer my question
