Did you see the article on calci sand? I think there is a few sands listed on the article but paper towels is lot better because the crickets can't burrow into it.

You should probably use paper towels.But I know sand looks a lot better.Or you u can use butcher paper.Hope this helps!

what kind of sand do u use in there tank?Calci sand is very bad for them there is a article here about calci sand on geckosunliminted.
