That's what I thought. Yeah aren't they suppose to have like the foresty habitat like my old Chinese Water Dragon. I prefer habitats like that lolz. And wow 20 bucks! That's so cheap! Id hop on that deal too. Lolz ahhh now ur going to be even more overrun w. geckos. Id still do the same thing tho. And fine so far. She just sleeps. Iv been trying not to go near her tank so she feels like she has more privacy. And I started to cover part of her cage so shes less distracted w. the motion going on around my room. But idk what to do with her. I have to leave to go on a motorcycle run in like 5 days. And Ill be gone for like over a week. Maybe two. I'm scared to leave her home w. out me there. I'm just hoping that she lays them within the next 5 days. And that her situation doesn't turn into egg binding. Cuz I heard that some Geckos will hold their eggs for 7 weeks. Lets hope that's the situation.

Oh nooo. Cresties are just as easy to take care of as leos, they just have their different habitats and humidity requirements and they have to have a tall tank with alot of sticks and plants as they love to climb. Theyre very cool geckos though. I am getting a beautiful female tonight for $20. Best deal I have ever seen! lol. So hows Dilyla doing?

I havent introiducedn my two Leos yet. I really want to but with my female Dilyla being new and pregnant I don't want to cause more stress upon her. So I just put in a cage divider. Hopefully she gives birth soon so I can finially introdue them and see if shareing the same cage without the divider is possiable. And i'm hopeing to get a Crestie in the future if possiable. Do they require a lot of medical care??

Yeah leopard geckos really are unique, they are some of the coolest gecko species. But thats cool I know you must love them alot. I have 2 actually, 1 is a very fat female, she almost looks pregnant but when I got her 2 years ago she was the same size as she is now! And my male is about 6 years old but I have had him for around 2 year also. The funny thing about them is the male is super territorialand even if I have just clean his tank and put the girl in their with him all he wants to do is attack her and it stresses her out so they are in separate tanks now. But yes cresties are not cheap, ive spent to much on them already lol!

Oh yeah I love the Leopard Gecko breed. Their so smart. When my bf brought back our first Leo (Vincent) I didn't really like him. And I didn't like their color patterns for when they were a baby (and Vincent was only a month old when bought). But after about a week of owning him I warmed up to the breed. Their so talented and have such an individual personality's. Then a yr later I bought Dilyla. And wow I always wanted a Crested Gecko. Their so interesting. But really expensive. And how many Leos do you have?

Yeah I know that's what everyone says. And I would consider egg binding if her behavior or diet or something changed lolz. But shes still normal with everything. And I do give her plenty of space and hold her at the minimum. And she is provided an egg box in her cage along with her own hiding areas. I even switch light bulbs for my geckos cage to a night heat light instead of a day. I hope it's not egg binding. If she doesn't lay her eggs in about 10 days I'm going to a vet. Cause I hear egg binding kills the female most of the time and we don't want that lolz. Thank you so much for the reply. It was a real big help

Oh damn thats wayyyy over due. The usual time limit for a leopard gecko is about 4-6 weeks. That sounds like egg-binding, or your gecko becoming unable to pass eggs. If a female does not find a suitable laying place, or there are other health issues present including a problem with calcium, she may retain the eggs. The eggs may continue to grow and possibly fuse together inside of the female's body, making it difficult or impossible for the eggs to be passed. If your breeding female's sides start looking bloated, or she becomes very lethargic and ceases or slows in food consumption, keep a close eye on her (but do not bother her overly much, as it could cause stress)If you are expecting eggs and they are very long in coming, it may be worth your time to get your female X-rayed at a veterinarian's office to find out if the eggs can be safely passed. But I signed up so I could get some of my questions answered abt geckos that no1 seems to know around here! :-0

Lolz. Well I just bought a new Leopard Gecko who's pregnant and she's giving me quite the scare. Shes been pregnant for quite sometime. Possible over five months. So I started looking for websites where I can blog and ask questions and meet new people who have the same interest in Leopard Geckos and who could possible teach me more. Lolz. And what about yourself?
