My internet speed these days is horrible. Can't even log in to any of my profile pages without being timed back off again before I get the opportunity to do anything. I am lucky to even be typing this entry, though if I am ever able to post it, it may yet be something that I was lucky enough to post. Not sure if that even made any sense.

I am going to be dormant for a little while. I will still post, but don't expect me to be around a whole lot.

Fan-foots are getting bolder

by Sinosauropteryx on 01-28-2011 at 11:48 PM
It has been a while since the last entry was made - not a wkile when it comes to me, but anyway... - and my last entry is still up. Oh well, I am done asking for someone else to post over my last entry.

Not much has happened so far, but there have been improvements. The two fan-toed/fan-footed (I call them both from time to time) geckos are getting bolder now. A few nights ago I saw one on the glass wall closest to me, and when I leaned closer for a better look, he (or she?) didn't

Frozen crickets

by Sinosauropteryx on 01-23-2011 at 01:27 AM
Yep. Here is yet another entry. I was going to let someone else post an entry to replace mine on GU's community page but I thought of something else I want to type about that happened this morning so you are going to have to put up with it You don't like it, then start posting entries

On Wednesday of last week, I bought my crickets at a place in Brockville. As usual, I split them up between Abuto and Pepé. I did that on the day I got them because I knew I wouldn't have

Doesn't anyone else type in their blog?

by Sinosauropteryx on 01-21-2011 at 08:50 PM
I mean, really.

My last blog entry has been up there on the site's community page for a week and a half now and no one else's entries have replaced it. I am not sure how I like being put in the spotlight for all that least it is good for publicity.

So, what has been going on lately? OK, for the sake of relevence, I'll type something.

Abuto has become more elusive than ever this winter. I know she is still alive because bugs keep disappearing

Quetzal sure is growing

by Sinosauropteryx on 01-11-2011 at 07:26 PM
I noticed this morning when I went into the greenhouse to check on Quetzal that he or she (still can't tell which) has grown a lot since I got him/her in late September. The leaves on the plant in the vertical hexagon take I have set up are starting to droop like a weeping willow from him/her sitting on them all day. He/she is getting heavy enough that he/she can no longer sit on the leaves without weighing them down. If this keeps up, I may need to move him/her into the larger custem-made enclosure
