Hi,
By sheer chance, just now, I was looking at a list of 'non-toxic plants for your vivarium', and probably wouldn't even have noticed, by there was a note added at the end of the list:
** Not to be confused with another "umbrella" plant, Schefflera actinophylla which is toxic!!
Which reminded me straight away of your post:
Boss Lady happy in with her Schefflera.
I googled around & it seems the leaves of S. actinophylla cause diarrhea and vomiting in cats and dogs also.
I hope you have a different Schlefflera. Couldn't not send this, just in case.
