Default Found a baby Crested gecko

Hi,

I have a pair of crested gecko's and just found a baby in the tank. It appears that they have bred. I have no experience with breeding geckos. If anyone can give me any advice on what to do with the baby, I would greatly appreciate it.

You had no experience with breeding geckos. Now you do.

Might want to put him in his own enclosure. From my experience the husbandry is pretty much the same as for the adults. With other geckos you want to offer smaller insects for hatchlings, but no need with Cresties.

Place the baby in a smaller container preferrably lined with papertowel so it cant cause imapaction, tas hatchlings they can eat 2 week crickets and sometimes a bit of fruit mixture. You can either put some fake plants or real plants in with him, as well as some cork bark which they seem to enjoy hiding in. Make sure to keep him hydrated, and also keep your eyes peeled for another baby since they usually come in pairs! I've found critter keepers work great for the first couple of months, they really dont need that much space when they're first born. Congrats!

That's crazy haha, you didn't notice the egg or anything? Just looked in the tank one day and found a third gecko? :P
