Default Need help. what substrate do you use?

hey everyone i got a 1.1 pair of crested geckos and i was wondering what does everyone use for a substrate. i currently use a mulch type substrate with a nest box. well i looked in the tank today and found 2 shriveled eggs laid right onto the substrate and it was kind of disappointing. so im just wondering what does everyone use as a substrate.

I like cocopeat fiber (Eco Earth) substrate in my crested tank because it holds moisture well.

Good question! I only have an adult male crestie and have never bred these cute critters. One reason is because lots of other folks are doing so.

How about posting your question in the crested subforum here?

yes im going to. im new to the site and just learning where exactly to post everything. i use to breed these little guys years ago when i was 18 but they always laid in a nest box for me. now comming back into it i heard that people just let them lay right into the substrate and i thought that would be cooler and alot easier lol
