I made this simple set up for my teratoscincus roborowski and they're loving it! The back wall is styro-foam eaten away with goof-off to make the striations. This was coated with thin-set for tiling and sprinkled with play sand for color and texture detail. There's two long slabs of rock over the heat pad and below the heat light for a basking spot of 98-100 degrees. I also made a cave/tunnel using a 90 degree angled U-shaped piece of styrofoam which i also ate away with the goof-off and put thin-set and sand on. The cage is a 50 gallon long with 4" of play sand for them to burrow into and kick around.
