    Default Cage maintenance

Hey guys, I've only had cresties for about a month now, and I think its time to do a real 'scrub down' of their cages. I've only been "spot cleaning" until now, because I'm not really sure how to go about cleaning all the cage furniture. Both cages have a live, potted plant in them, along with vines, fake foliage, and other structures. Should I take the washable things to the kitchen sink and scrub with some kind of soap? And what do you experienced keepers use to clean the (poop stained!) glass? I thought about a weak solution of windex with water added... but I want a second opinion.

I wish cresties would just keep their waste in one little area like the rest of my geckos

(also posting this in the crestie section)

No windex.... I use white vinegar ad R.O. or distilled water for wiping down the glass

Honestly, I use a dab of Dawn liquid dishsoap on wet paper towel. It works well and from what I've researched is safe. I will wash all the surfaces, rinse very well with water and towel dry. I do the same thing with anything that is washable, I'll let them sit in a sink of really hot water and then scrub them a little with a soapy towel. Then rinse, and let dry.

Yea, cresties are a mess lol. And they really stink after a while, it's horrible.
