Microgecko persicus may fit that nicely. I don't know too much about the husbandry of them or if there's even much out there, but they are indeed small, about a 2-4 inch adult size.

If you do some digging i'm sure you'll be able to find something.

    Good luck

Another small gecko that may do OK in there is Coleonyx (banded geckos). In general, though, I think an enclosure that size is best for an arboreal gecko that can make use of more surface area. I originally had my P. klemmeri in one that size before I moved her into a 12x12x18. The original 12x12x12 is now being used by a friend for his mourning geckos.

I would also recommend L williamsi. they're very small, very active, and very showy geckos.

Phelsuma klemmeri, Teratolepis fasciata, and pachydactylus tigrinus may also be suitable.

hmmm...... all very interesting especially the L wililamsi. but i am looking for a desert dweller mainly because I want some diversity among my terrariums in stead of all tropical or all desert.

do the pachydactylus tigrinus like being handled (like how tolerant are they?)
