    Default My first vivarium

Just wanted to share the beginning stages of my first planted vivarium. It's a 24x18x24 Exo-terra with stand that was on craigslist for $100... took a bit of cleanup but it was in great shape. I'm using NEHERP substrate. I'll be adding a zoo-med cork background and bamboo for Phelsuma Laticauda (1.1 or 1.2). I know the background should have gone in first, but it will line up exactly with the top of the substrate so it shouldn't be too bad fitting it in. The plants are pothos, a bromeliad, sansavieria, and dracaena.

I love NeHerp! Jess and Mike are great! Did you use hydroballs or their LDL?

I'm using the LDL, I heard great things about their products so hopefully this experiment works out
