Default Gargoyle gecko (Rhacodactylus auriculatus) leg problems

Hi there, this is my first post on the site, so sorry if it's not done completely correctly

To start off, I have five 3-month old gargoyle geckos.
Until a couple days ago we had them housed in the same tank because we hadn't observed any biting or even acknowledgment that there were others in the tank. The other day we found one of the geckos with a bite mark so we split them up to the best of our ability.
My favorite little guy, Tigger, was on my hand the other day and jumped off and hit the linoleum kitchen floor before I could catch him. It seemed like a huge jump for him so I picked him up immediately to make sure he was all right. He seemed to be fine so I kept him out a bit longer and then placed him in his tree at the top of the tank. A few minutes later I noticed him at the bottom of the tank, holding his arm close to his body, noticeably limping and keeping his fingers clamped together.

I gave it a full night and he's still in this condition. There almost looks to be some bruising around the top of his arm and the way he moves it really doesn't look right.

I made an appointment with a vet for next week (as soon as possible), but I'm not sure if it will be worth the fees to just find out, "it's broken, but there's nothing more we can do."

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to what I could possibly try to do to make him feel better or try to fix the arm? It's looking like the vet's the only option, but I wish there were something I could do in the meantime.
