Are you looking for a Breeder, Pet Store or Reptile Show that you can physically pick a gargoyle up at only or are you open to Breeders who can ship gargoyles to you (weather permitting)?

I want to see and hold before I would buy, so shipping is out of the question. Im too worried about something going wrong in shipping or getting one that is sickly or ill-tempered. There is a place locally that could get me one, but I would prefer to go and see a few and get the best of the bunch.

Is White Plains to far? They have a show on 11/28 and there should be several venders with gargoyles there. Welcome to ReptileExpo.com

Best thing to do is to make a list of all the pet stores and start calling to see if any of they carry them or are planning to carry them in the near future. The chain stores are kinda hit and miss and very few carry gargoyles; they mostly carry cresties, leos and beardies.....gargoyles you kinda have to find at larger reptile expos.

some petsmart's carry them on occasion. I'm not sure there's much for expos or breeders out your way. I travel from MA to white plains, it's not too bad traffic-wise, quite the haul for you though. I know there's some small breeders in Buffalo that use to have them, if you call around you're bound to find someone eventually. Most people just pick a breeder they trust and ask about temperament and ask for lots of pics if they want "the best of the bunch".

Big Mike,

There is a herp show in buffalo every September and I believe they are planning on a spring show in March or April next year too.

I'm from Rochester and I've been to the fall show the past 3 years and I should have a few gargoyles for the spring show.

Outside of the show you don't see many around here in stores. I actually know a guy in buffalo that might have some.

Tony
