Default Henkeli Leachianus?

I've been doing some research on Rhacodactylus Geckos and it seems I've taken an interest in R. Leachianus. I'll be getting some hundreds of dollars soon for my 18th birthday and with the money, I am probably going to buy one. On average, how much can I expect to pay for a Leachie, preferrably the Henkeli Leachianus? Also, does anyone know of any breeders?

Breeders aren't hard to find. You can check fauna and you'll find plenty. A few of the biggest names are-

GiantGeckos.com - Captive Bred Reptiles by Philippe de Vosjoli - Home has been producing some pretty cool locale mixes.

Leapin Leachies High Quality LocalitySpecific Rhacodactylus if you want a pure locale, this is a one stop shop.

As far as price goes, that really depends on the specific animal and whether or not it's pure locale or not. A mixed or unknown locale isn't any less of a leachie, but kindof like pure bred dogs vs mixed breeds, the pure lineage demands a price. Speaking strictly of henkeli, the locales that should be the most affordable are Moro, Nuu Ami, Nuu Ana. Moro gets pretty large and the Ana and Amis are the smallest leachianus there are.

Price- You should be able to find a mixed locale for $300 or so, pure locale depends on which locale your'e talking about, but generally $650 is about the top from what I've seen. Of course, I'm talking about hatchlings only. The older the animal is, the higher the price.

Feel free to PM me or email and I'll help any way I can.

I'd hit up Andrew and Sara Gilpin of Living Art Creations.

They have the best price on young leaches right now.

Matt, Living Art Creations is Andrew and Sarah Gilpin from the Repashy forum. I don't think they have a website though.
