Question Question about Handling.

I have two Gargoyle geckos that I have had for about a year and a half now, and for the most part I have had little interaction with them other then feeding, cleaning and misting. I was hoping to gain some knowledge and tips on how to properly handle them. I understand they aren't meant to be treated like other pets such as a cat and dog, but I would like to figure out a way that it would be safe to hold them if I have to remove them from the tank for any reason.

I wasn't sure if this was the proper forum to stick this threat, and I apologize if it isn't.

Thank you.

I would recommend viewing some of JayBee's videos, they are very educational. The video below is on handling a crested gecko, but gargoyles would be the same.

My gargoyles are less flighty than crested geckos....but I have a couple gargoyles that we bought as adults that weren't handled much previously. They are still a little shy even after we have handled them every other night for 2 year....it all depends on the individual gecko whether they like or want to be handled.

Thank you so much. I'm working my ways through the videos now.
