Yes, Rhacodactylus auriculatus are gargoyles. I probably won't be able to get video of her laying but I'll try. Gargoyles tend to be a little shy when laying eggs and they will stop what they are doing and will wait for hours for you to leave the room before they will lay their eggs. So I tend to cover their enclosures with a towel when they are laying so I do not disturb them.
The cost of the harlequin can very quite a bit depending on the breeder, but they are generally very reasonably priced at expos. The NY expos do draw in quite a few good breeders so you should have no problem finding what you are looking for at a really good price.
