It's official! I'm getting my Garg over x-mas (for free!!!). Thanks Herr!! I'll post pictures when they get sent to me and when I get him/her. I'm planting a terrarium for him/her so I wanted to know what kind of bulb would be safe as far as not over heating the tank but would also help keep the plants alive? Any other suggestions as far as housing goes would be of great help! This will be my first semi-arboreal gecko to keep! So I want to make sure his/her tank is well set up ahead of time for him/her! I have a while so I can make any improvements or changes! Thanks!

We use Repitsun 5.0 Fluorescent Bulbs for most of of our gargs and it put out very little if any heat. We do have Fluorescent Grow Light on 2 of our garg vivs and it does increase the temp about 2-3 degrees.

Well, I put the tank together today so hopefully I won't kill the plants or anything! I think I did pretty well for my first try. I'm going to invest in a bigger tank for when the little one gets bigger and I'll deck that one out too before I put him/her in. I really enjoy making as naturalistic terrariums and vivariums as I can! Thanks for the input, again!!!
