Question How much should by Gargoyle Gecko be eating?

Hello! I have a garg who is nearly three months old, and I was wondering how much he should be eating? I usually hand feed him repashy, but sometimes he doesn't eat very much. Also, how do I feed him not by hand, should I just leave it in a dish for him..will he find it before it goes bad?

Sorry that these questions are so dumb, and thanks for answering! :b

At 3 months, he/she is still very small and you probably won't notice much food missing from his/her bowl. The best way to monitor at this age is by weight & finding poop. A this age, their poops are very tiny as you know, but as long as you find poop every 2-3 days, then your little one is eating like a champ

I use a contact lens case as water/food bowls, I change out the CGD every 2-3 days. I find a few of my babies like it very fresh & some prefer at the 1-2 days old. They eat at their own pace and eat gecko is different on how much they eat or how fast they grow.

I use a gram scale that measures to the tenth of a gram, it make it much easier to determine if they are loosing, maintaining or gaining weight. You can find some pretty cheap gram scales in the food utensils section of most stores, just make sure it measures the tenth of a gram.
