Default ice breaking behavior of L. williamsi?

hi all,
i'm new to this forum as i am new to L. williamsi
finally i found a place full of pros on L. williams

well, i kept a male about a 5 days ago,
and then i introduce a "female" (i hope she is she but i am still confusing even i've already read all 17 pages in this forum )

ytd i first put the "female" in to the vivi, when the male saw it, it throat inflate, head bob and bend his back. while the "female" only lick his face back when the male goes near and lick her face.

well, i dont know if it is normal as they knew each other for about 20 hours only till now. but i;m really worry about them.

even now, i can still see the male throat inflate, head bob and bend his back when he get close to the "female". but the "female" just ignore him

well, i would like to ask if male L. williamsi show this behavior to female?
or they only show this behavior to another male?

(i've seen some replies in other posts that sometimes the male do this to female..but someone said this behavior only appears between males, so i dont know which one is correct)

anyway, i dont know if i should seperate them right now if the female is really a him. or i can wait for them to settle, say, 1 or 2 weeks.

but i really worry about that they will fight each other soon and i want to prevent this from happening.

anyway, thanks all for reading this long post and...

Merry Christmas! have a nice day

It sure sounds like your male is trying to get jiggy with your female.

However make sure to keep an eye on them so it does not turn into agression in case the female rejects him too much or if indeed is a male.

Good luck with them.
