Came home today to find two eggs on the sanseveria
They really love their plant and spend a lot of time on it: I put it in after watching the exoterra video of williamsi in their native habitat and they treat it just as if it were a pandanus. They have a 45x45x45 exoterra and use every bit of it, glad I gave them that much space.

The eggs hatched a day apart, both at night. Today I saw a hatchling! The parents were ignoring it as in another post here, so rather than risk moving it, I'm planning to leave it in the viv. There's an active springtail culture in the substrate, pinhead crickets and fruit flies are also available as well as gecko diet. It drank enthusiastically when I misted near it.

Both hatchlings have been seen, are active and able to jump almost the width of the viv. The incubation time seems to have been really short! these eggs were in plain view and I only saw them a month before they hatched. If I'm to guess gender atm, I think at least one of these is male, very vivid underside and a black chin already. Parents are still ignoring them and the viv is heavily planted so I think they should be able to hide. Biggest risk is escape, one baby jumped onto the door when I had it open to mist!!

Happy families... the parents don't seem in the least interested in eating their offspring.
actually has anyone else noticed this much colour difference between hatchlings? I'd be prepared to bet that one is male (the more blue one with the more highly coloured legs and underbelly) and one female.
