Nice find!
My roosevelti laid an egg last night. When I found it, it was dented on one side, perhaps from desiccation? How resistant are the eggs to drying out? It was laid in dry soil.

I have had plenty of eggs laid in sand from a few animals and never had any issues. As far as the dent goes, same here I have had a few eggs like this from my Lygodactylus and Phelsuma and never had issues. Dunno if it is different with Sph. , but my guess would be not.

If the egg is nice and hard you should be good to go!

Thanks, that's good to know. Hopefully in a couple months I'll know for sure it's good!

Hi,

I only have babies of L. kimhowelli atm. Lots of Sphaero (and other gecko) eggs, but no babies have hatched yet.

Contact dendrophel, he may have a pair of these still.
