Default lygodactylus williamsi (electric gecko)

i just got 2 Lygodactylus williamsi (electric geckos) and i put them in ther aquarium and the male turned dark blue and now hes like a dark green. is sumthng wrong? thanks

This could be due to a few things:

1.) Your male and female is really two males.
2.) Your female is bullying the male.
3.) They just need time to settle in.

Give it a few days and watch for any bullying.

thanks ill wait few days. but the female not bullyin male the male chased her a couple times so if anythng hed be bullying her. wen i put him in tank he was a nice blue then he started changing so prob he just needa settle in. ther no sickness or sumthng tht can do tht to him? the girls looks fine tho shes a nice green

Nah I think he is fine, most probably just needs to dominate his territory first.

i got up this morning and he was back to his normal color. now later in the day hes back to the dark color

Wouldnt worry about those colours too much mate, aslong as you have the right temperatures and humidity, along with a lot of stuff to climb on etc, its just part of their behaviour to change colours and such. Also if you have been observing/harassing them, they change colour, a lot like chameleons
